Yes. Every plan can be billed yearly or monthly. Monthly billing costs a bit more over a year, but spreads the cost out, and you can switch by contacting us on WhatsApp.

Both include the same tag, profile, and support. Yearly is the better value overall (J$2,500 a year), while monthly (J$400 a month) spreads your first payment and renewals into smaller amounts. You can cancel either plan any time.

Can I update my pet's information?

Yes, any time your membership is active. Just message us on WhatsApp with the change, photo, or new contact info. There's no dashboard, we update the profile for you, usually within 24 hours.

How long does it take to get my tag and profile set up?

After you pay, we usually create your pet's profile and prepare your tag within 1-2 business days. Delivery time, if you chose delivery, is separate and can vary.

What happens if I stop paying?

If a renewal payment fails, your pet's profile stays active for a short grace period, about two weeks, while our team reaches out to find out what happened and help sort it out. If it's still not resolved after that, your plan is marked inactive and you lose profile updates and WhatsApp support. Your pet's basic contact details stay reachable even then, as a last-resort safety net, but renewing is what keeps everything fully active.

What if someone calls pretending they found my pet?

Unfortunately, lost-pet scams do happen. Before you meet anyone or send anything, ask the caller to send a photo or short video of your pet right now, and ask about something only you would know, like a marking or how your pet reacts to its name. Never send money or a reward before you've seen your pet.

What if someone finds my pet but won't give it back?

Stay calm and keep things friendly at first. Many people who hold on to a pet have simply grown attached, and offering a reasonable reward when you collect your pet often settles it. Gather proof of ownership, such as photos of you with your pet, vet and vaccination records, and your PetTag Pro profile. Keep a record of your messages and calls. If they still refuse, report it to the police. Animal welfare groups like the JSPCA can also offer guidance.

What if the tag is removed or thrown away?

No tag can prevent that. But your pet's profile is saved online in your name, so removing the tag doesn't erase the record. Keep recent photos of your pet for the best protection.

Does PetTag Pro guarantee my pet will be returned?

PetTag Pro makes it quick and easy for someone who finds your pet to contact you. We can't control what happens after that contact, so we can't guarantee a pet's return, and we aren't responsible for arrangements made between owners and finders.
